After the roaring success of the second meet up we thought we'd do it all again. But before the details, we said it on twitter but we'll say it again - THANK YOU to...

  • Andy Burgin from MadeByPi for the DevopsDays presentation.
  • John Denholm from SkyBet for the insight into how DevOps has has been implemented to deliver business value.
  • SkyBet for "Tab50" - big thank you for the beers.
  • The Central for being so accommodating.
  • All 20ish of you that turned up - lovely to see you all

...so let's do it all again.

One of the earliest followers of the @leedsdevops twitter account was @ukandrewtaylor who works for SAGE in the north east, he's kindly agreed to come along and talk about their DevOps experiences:

Past, Present, Future. DevOps from inside a billion pound company.
Andrew Taylor from Sage UK talks about the experiences, challenges and successes in running infrastructure for the FTSE100's only software company.

We are extremely pleased to have Robin Harvey of Codezilla coming to talk to us:

Robin Harvey
My Experience of Devops

Andy Burgin will also be giving an introduction to the group for new comers and sharing some of the activities the group has been up to in the weeks since the last meet up (yep we've been busy).

Promises to be a great night (even better if we can find a sponsor for the bar - hint, hint).

We're at The Central on Tuesday 14th January 2014 starting at 7pm. We've put 20 free tickets available at eventbrite http://leedsdevops-jan-14.eventbrite.co.uk , so be quick in snapping one up as we nearly sold out last time.

Venue details here… http://www.thecentralleeds.co.uk/ please keep an eye on the site and twitter to check for updates.
